Introducing Isel Ras: AVERT Research Network’s New Coordinator

The AVERT Research Network is pleased to welcome Isel Ras as the new coordinator. Isel will oversee AVERT's operational activities, including managing events, communications, and key stakeholder collaborations to ensure the smooth running of the Network’s research initiatives.

Speaking about her new role, Isel said “I am thrilled to be working alongside the AVERT Research Network team and to have the opportunity to engage closely with the research and projects conducted by leading academics and practitioners in the field of preventing violent extremism.”

In her new role, Isel will support the Network’s mission by facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers and professionals. “I look forward to contributing to the operational aspects of the AVERT Research Network and facilitating opportunities for these remarkable professionals to collaborate and exchange knowledge in this critical area of work," she shared.

With her experience and commitment, Isel is set to strengthen AVERT’s operations and contribute to the Network’s ongoing success.
